We go again

And just like that we are on the cusp of another chapter. A final chapter? At this point one never knows. It would certainly seem so, but then again each chapter is accompanied by twists and secrets unbeknown to the reader, or even the writer.

The season begins here. What is done is done. History has been made, and in our history is where it shall rest. A new division. New challenges, and a change in mentality. Rather than forward we might have to look over our shoulder.

There are bigger fish in this pond. Hungrier lions at this feast. You thought your claws sharp; now let’s see how sharp they really are. A stick is no match for a sword.

Intention without action has little value. But actions without intention is the work of a madman. Find the balance. Accept what you cannot control, and impose yourself on that which you can.

Embrace the difficulties, of which I am sure there will be many. Welcome the hard things. Commit to it. And beyond all else, try and enjoy it. Put the disappointments behind you. Travel light. Clear the clutter.
